On June 27, 2024 - Goldman Sachs has announced the launch of the first fund in the EMEA region through its ETF Accelerator program, listing a new AI-driven equity ETF on the German market. The AI-Enhanced Eurozone Equities UCITS ETF (ISIN: IE000979OT00), targeting institutional, semi-institutional, and private investors, was developed by Ultramarin GmBH, a deep-tech company specializing in AI-based prediction models. Baader Bank AG, acting as the fund’s investment manager, has licensed Ultramarin's investment strategy for the XETRA-listed fund.

This launch marks a significant milestone as the first European fund facilitated by Goldman Sachs ETF Accelerator, a pioneering institutional solution for rapidly launching, listing, and managing ETFs. The AI-Enhanced Eurozone Equities UCITS ETF is the sixth fund introduced through this platform, which has already helped ETFs with over $3 billion in assets enter the market. Lisa Mantil, Global Head of Goldman Sachs ETF Accelerator, expressed pride in supporting Ultramarin and Baader Bank, emphasizing the platform's role in scaling business and providing the necessary expertise and infrastructure for clients worldwide to enter the growing ETF space.
